Vegas Trip
Scott and I have setup a trip for Vegas from October 16 through October 18. I only have one room setup since no one, other than me and Scott, has committed to going. Let me know if you can make it and I can setup another room. We are staying at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame
New Americans Boone, Warren and Elliott Whitney got their first tastes of their new country's national pastime on July 5 at Rangers Ballpark.
Elliott seemed not to notice that a baseball game was taking place on the big, green field below him. He was, however, a confirmed fan of Goldfish crackers.
Boone roots on his hometown Texas Rangers (they beat the Tampa Bay Rays, 5-2), while Warren suffers from a bout of Short Attention Span Theater.
I believe the Rangers' second-baseman had just booted a routine grounder. Boone, the best baseball fan among the young Whitneys, was clearly displeased.

T&C IV
(And hopefully "IV" isn't forshadowing for Rudy.)
I hope everyone is marking calendars and sketching up plans. The 2010 Memorial Weekend Tea & Crumpets Affair should by May 27-31. Right?

Ched is a stud
Well done Ched... well done.... now does Schwartz know how to blog? I'm not sure he knows how to read email.
Thank You: Memorial Weekend Tea & Crumpets Affair II

Scott,
I realize it has been a couple of weeks ... my apologies for my rude delay in this long needed message.
Many thanks to you (and especially Janine) for hosting the second annual Memorial Day Tea and Crumpets Weekend. Food and drinks were plentiful and delicious as promised (I can still taste that tasty buttery lobster - sorry Jen). The cigars were classy... and my room accomodations were outstanding - what can I say, I wasn't put in the trailer like the Virogs.
I'm glad I made it out alive this time with very little damage other than some girly scratches from Ched in his attempt to play volley ball. It was really good to see everyone... except for Schwartz of course :) And it is always good to see the real Billy Bob Thorton
Looking forward to next year - hoping everyone can come (and we can arrive around the same day so Scott doesn't put me to work again).
Go Big Brown!
Rudy

Attention Guest Services,
The Virog's want to express their satisfaction for the fine event that is Tea and Crumpets. Our lovely host Mrs. Janine Whitney provided a most excellent atmosphere for a relaxing break from everyday grinds, (oh her assistant Scott did a fine job also). The other guests at the resort were pleasant with the exception of the rather loud individual who was intoxicated and combative at the sporting events, I believe he was called Ball Buster?
It was great to see you all again. Hopefully it will not be such a long time before we see you again.
Kudo's to Rudy for reminding a message needed to be sent.
Dan and Jen
